The selection opens with the Fra-Fra Tribesmen recorded in Ghana, nothing but vocals over a fiddle & rattle! The discs then take you through the early works, chronologically, of Charley Patton, Leadbelly, Robert Johnson & some highly obscure names - Blinding stuff. The gatefold sleeve is Excellent & the vinyl looks barely played).
