DONOVAN Brother Sun And Sister Moon (Extremely rare original 1970 UK TRIPLE set of 12" double sided metal based methyl cellulose lacquer acetates for the unreleased soundtrack project LPs. Each LP has custom typewritten Apple acetate labels. The first album is the Donovan songs & music in STEREO with the other two being the MONO soundtrack albums without the Donovan songs [a version of which was actually released in Europe in 1972]. The Donovan LP itself with all songs & musicremains UNRELEASED to this day & even Donovan himself was forced to re-record the tracks for a 2004 CD release without the lavish orchestral backing & in with different times & running order because of problems obtaining the rights. Given their fragile nature, all the acetates are in great condition, with a few cosmetic surface scuffs evident but no sonic flaws. An incredible set & possibly unique!).
