PET SHOP BOYS Yes (2009 UK 'Deluxe Edition' 2-CD album set - In
what is surely the pop collaboration of 2009, Pet Shop Boys have
teamed up with the hit production team Xenomania [Girls Aloud,
Sugababes, Gabriella Cilmi] for their new studio album, 'Yes'. The
boys have said about the album, 'This
album is amazing and it was great working with Xenomania!', 'It's a
fantastic, wide-ranging, pop record.'. Pet Shop Boys
co-wrote three of the eleven new tracks on the album with
Xenomania, whilst the other tracks were written by Tennant / Lowe
with a little assistance from Tchaikovsky on 'All Over The world'.
Comprising the 11-track CD album including the 'Love etc' and
features a guest appearance from Johnny Marr; plus the Bonus
7-track 'etc' CD containing the a Tennant / Lowe song, entitled
'This Used To Be The Future', with vocals by Neil, Chris and guest
vocalist Philip Oakey
[The Human League], and 6 instrumental dub mixes by Xenomania &
Pet Shop Boys of tracks from 'Yes'. Presented in a deluxe packaging
complete with a 8-page picture booklet).
