One of the rarest Beatles records, only 3000 were pressed of this unique compilation. Only ever released in Denmark, this collection of 1962-1965 non-album tracks is considered by many to be the highest fidelity pressing of any vinyl Beatles compilation - the high frequencies and bass notes are remarkably clear.
The back of the picture sleeve states
"Made In Denmark by Skandinavisk Grammophon Aktieselskab"

The labels are matt black with silver text, even the familar Parlophone logo is printed in silver. There are a few light spindlemarks around the centre hole, though not an excessive amount, nor are they highly noticeable.
The vinyl is absolutely beautiful. The Danes are not known for looking after their records and usually this album is found in pretty poor condition. This copy somehow managed to find its way out of Denmark in 1966 and remained in a cupboard here in the UK for 40 years, unplayed and pristine before finally arriving at our office.
On close inspection under bright light there are just a couple of light hairline marks. These seem to be caused by removal of the vinyl from the sleeve and are not stylus marks. None are audible as we've played this album at high volume in the office and the fidelity is fabulous!
The sleeve - what can I say except WOW! The sleeve design is similar in design to that of a UK original. It is a front laminated, flipback style picture sleeve. That is where the similarity ends though as the sleeve picture and tracklisting are unique to this album.
The condition is beyond compare. This 43 year old album looks like it was made yesterday, the front has bright, vivid colours, clean crisp uncreased laminate and the rear benefits from secure flipbacks and pure white, unfaded background, free from discolouration and stains.
All edges and spine are perfect with no wear whatsoever.
