Hi All
I have am trying to find out how early a pressing is my copy of DSOTM which was bought on its initial release.
Here is the information I have, hope somebody can help...
Pink Floyd - Dark Side Of The Moon
Cover is very dark blue, left hand gatefold is stuck together but does not have the folded flap tucked inside
and stuck, just glued together. Black inner sleeve all in one piece, two posters (matt) two stickers with the brown stripes down the back, these came from a very early 2nd issue.
Label has the solid blue triangle with the silver text.
Stampers as best identified, mother numbers are not very clear but here goes.
A Side - SHVL 804 A - 3 Stamper GOR Mother (looks like a 5 )
B Side - SHVL 804 B - 2 Stamper GRH Mother (looks like a 2 )
Vinyl after all these years I would put as excellent, with a few light marks.
Cover has corner wear, but i think is still in good condition considering its age.
Hope somebody can help with this.

Pink Floyd's Wish You Were Here LP is one of my favorite albums of all time. I got the LP of this the other day but haven't played it yet. I love the CD of it very much and it sounds great. This classic features excellent songs Shine On You Crazy Diamond, Have A Cigar, and Wish You Were Here. Highly recommended to all rock fans. | [reply to this topic] |

lyric inner sleeve. This copy is still in the original picture/title stickered
shrink and therefore shows very little signs of age, the vinyl is also

I have some limited edition picture LPs from the 70s, some that have never been opened. Any idea of value?
The unopened ones are Beatles Abbey Road (SEAX-11900) and Pink Floyd Dark Side of The Moon (SEAX-11902).
I have other picture LPssuch as Barry Manilow, Rod Stewart, Elvis Presley which although they are opened, have never been played.
And I have coloured LPs, such as Graham Parker (Pink), Saturday Night Fever (Silver), Elton John (Yellow) and Lethal Weapon Various Artists (White).
I have no idea where to look, but someone told me last night that some of these could be worth quite a bit, so can someone advise me where to look (Sotheby's, etc??)

i have just got pink floyd the final cut japanese Double cd,which is an hdcd,it also has the wall as the second disc,and the cd is 24bit/96khz and the first disc has 21 songs not 13 like the normal cd.Any info would be great TA peeps | [reply to this topic] |
