dean , Durham UNITED KINGDOM Created Sat 1st Apr '17 21:56 (GMT)Test Pressing I have a 7" test pressing of Les Mccann's Liberated Woman on the Speciality Records Corporation label but on the reverse side of the record is a pressing of Led Zeppelin's Candy Store Rock, no label but the matrix # reads as SS-ST 31756-1. There is a date stamp of May 28th 1976 on the Les Mccann side. Two questions I would like resolved 1) which was recorded first? 2) any idea of a potential value? Regards and thanks.[reply to this topic ]
Maddy007 Fleetwood, Lancashire UNITED KINGDOM Created Sun 12th Jun '16 21:28 (GMT)Question to EIL: how much are these worth?? Hi my parents have been having a clear out and came across these 2 tshirts and jumper originally from when they went to KNEBWORTH to watch led zeppelin and others. The t-shirts are from the 1st day and jumper from the 2nd day. I have pictures of parents both wearing these tshirts at the concert and have been stored ever since. The jumper does have 2 holes on the arms and a little tear at the bottom. But just wondering what is best to do with them sell them or keep them for longer?? Many thanks[reply to this topic ]

alexeppelin BELGIUM Created Sat 14th Apr '12 11:27 (GMT)Review: Lovely package As a collector, it's difficult to find "strange" items or oddities. This one is such a gem. I like the Russian spelling on the cover, and the idea to produce it as a double feature is hilarious. I'm glad I own it.[reply to this topic ]

Re: LED ZEPPELIN Physical Rocket (Extremely rare ORIGINAL
1975 UK 35" x 25" poster for their legendary shows at Earl's Court
Arena in May 1975. This is not a modern repro, but has come directly
from the archives of the concert promoter Mel Bush & is accompanied
by a signed letter from the man himself on Mel Bush Organisation
headed paper confirming it to be so. This one is so very nearly perfect;
whilst it has not been used there are some tiny creases to the lower
right bottom edgewhich professional mounting and framing would
render near invisible. This is the last to come out of the
archives...) See 'More Info' ... View this product

music3w Oxford UNITED KINGDOM Created Sun 25th Jul '10 20:12 (GMT)Review: Led Zeppelin - Whole Lotta Love - A Tribute To Ahmet I had the pleasure of attending Ahmet Ertegun's tribute dinner at the Grosvenor Hotel and have held on to my numbered, limited edition copy of the double CD and DVD set and, in fact, still have my named ticket. I opened the pack but never played the CDs or the DVD so they and the programme/booklet are in mint condition. The card case is in good condition although not mint. It wasn't until that evening that I realised how much great music had come through the Atlantic stable. I'd always been a fan of Atlantic Soul and still have a Derek and the Dominos 12 inch single of Layla and this collection really epitomises great music. I was lucky enough to meet Eric Clapton at the dinner and spend time with the guys from Genesis amongst many others. I remember that was almost the end of an era and the like of which we'll not see again. From AC/DC to John Coltrane, from Dusty Springfield to the Drifters and, of course who could forget...the fantastic Led Zeppelin - all Atlantic acts. This collection marks the end of this era and is a must for any serios collector's collection.[reply to this topic ]

nocsg Brooklyn, New York USA Created Sun 24th May '09 23:05 (GMT)Led Zeppelin II In CSG MONO Most CSG processed records sound just awful. I have never heard Led Zeppelin II In CSG Mono. CSG Mono Is just passable but CSG processed stereo sound just awful due to the fact the right channel Is 90 degrees out of phase. The CSG process Is a cheap way for record companies to produce a stereo to mono compatible record without making a dedicated Mono Master. Atlantic-Atco, Warner Bros 7Arts, Reprise, Elektra and A&M used the CSG process on many of their records from 1967-70 and Warner-Reprise Into the mid to late 70's (on a few records). HAECO-CSG literally helped phase out the dual Mono and Stereo Lp releases In the late 60's. Led Zeppelin II In CSG Mono is definitely a rarity and Is worth seeking.[reply to this topic ]
Re: LED ZEPPELIN Led Zeppelin II (This is something we've never had
before because it's as rare as the proverbial hen's teeth, an original
1969 US 9-track white title label promotional MONO vinyl LP
with no 'SD' prefix to the catalogue number on the label, custom
stickered 'DJ Copy Monaural' gatefold picture sleeve. What makes this
so unusual is that unlike most mono promos, this isn't simply a left
channel blended with the right channel mono but has actually been
specifically remastered using the CSG process, exclusively for AM
radio stations. This was done because the lead vocals & instruments
would often sound too loud when heard played back in mono. When
the left and right channels were simply added together, the lead
vocals or instruments, being equal in level on both channels, would
add up to be 3 decibels louder than the mix in Stereo, so the CSG
[Compatible Stereo Generator] process was used to neutralise this
effect & create a more natural sounding mono from an original stereo
master. This fantastic copy shows just a little edge scuffing to the
sleeve & the vinyl is immaculate!) #Top 500 Greatest Albums Of All Time View this product

splintered8080 , Lower Austria AUSTRIA Created Mon 17th Nov '08 22:46 (GMT)In Through the Out Door w/ Paper Sleeve Variations hi sleightflow! this album featured an unusual gimmick. while the outer sleeve was made like an plain brown paper bag the inner sleeve was more differently. the a-f variation depends on the inner sleeve. there were six different sleeves. if someone bought the record in housed brown paper sleeve, not sealed, it makes it more impossible to tell which record sleeve they are getting. the code on the spine of the album jacket, which indicated which sleeve it was could sometimes only be seen when the record was sealed. bye, ray[reply to this topic ]
oilbird Madison, CT USA Created Sun 25th May '08 14:34 (GMT) Edited Sun 25th May '08 14:35 (GMT)Led Zeppelin IV rare record I recently went to a yard sale, and I found a copy of Led Zeppelin IV is fairly good shape except for a deep scratch on track one- side one, and it had no printing on side one of the label! This is an obvious mistake. It does have the Atlantic logo, STEREO, and ONE on the red and green label, but no tracks! I know this is probably rare, and I tried to research it to find it's value, but no luck. I'd like to sell it on Ebay, but I'm not sure of it's value. Can someone shed some light on this LP?[reply to this topic ]
