agreed. mutebank was great when it was in the hands of mute itself. They always popped in a few promos, cards, dance remixes. badges, posters whatever. This new outfit that sells mute's stuff is a sham and a scam. They charge people like me whom live outside the EU for VAT "in the interests of fairness", ship the orders from Switzerland of all places, then have the gall TO REMOVE THE VAT AND KEEP IT FOR THEMSELVES! Thieves The invoice mutebank sent me clearly stated the VAT was removed...and subsequently kept by them. They will never have my business again.
Postage to NZ is always a deciding factor for me(hence I buy all my books from the net from the Bookdepository.com whom do free worldwide shipping AND are VAT free as well!), so a company that has VAT free product and free shipping will get my business(I do my shops with EIL when they have postage free specials. EIL are great. I have no beef with them). So I do not use mutebank anymore. It's a rip off. In an age of mp3s and pirating, companies like that should be doing what they can to keep their custom base, not alienating them by blatantly ripping them off, then taking an imaginary moral highground to try to justify their own nefarious and rapacious behaviours. I do not see it listed as I wish to req the next available copy. I dl'ed the label from depmod.com but cannot see a choose file option to show you it's labels and sleeve. That site(the best one I know of that lists all known DM releases (apart from marking all images with the depmod watermark) and has in depth images of all facets of each release). Did you know that there is a club night called Music for the masses for fans of Depeche Mode in London?
Their parties are held quarterly at The London Stone, 109 Cannon Street. EC4. More info on the internet.

Some years ago i came into posession of a tape which had Depeche Mode performing at the Bridgehouse before they became famous.
I subsequently transfered this tape onto cd about 10 years ago.
It is really good to hear Dave and the rest of the band performing tracks that later went into the charts.
Boy does it sound different to how it actually came out after they recorded them in the studio.
The cd i have has 8 tracks on it, and there are 4 tracks that they never published when they became famous.
The tracks are:
1.ICE MACHINE
2.THE PRICE OF LOVE
3.DREAMING OF ME
4.NEW LIFE
5.TELEVISION SET
6.TOMORROWS DANCE
7.THE REASON
8.PHOTOGRAPHIC
Silly question, but how much is this worth.?
Unfortunately, i don't have a cd burner to make other copies at the moment, but i'm thinking of getting one if this is worth something.

Hello
I have a copy of this 12" bought when it was first released but it has the same label on each side of the disk. Is this the same on all of the others? It is in the loft at the moment and I have another 12" from Depeche mode that also has the smae label on each side of the disk. Is this unusual?
