Excelent record, showing Basie's striding, shouting style at his best in the late 1940's, 1950's and early 1960's. I met the "count" when he toured Europe in the late '50s or early '60s. (my memory's a little fuzzy as to the actual date) | [reply to this topic] |

and gold Columbia label 9-track MONO vinyl LP, housed in a front
laminated flipback picture sleeve. There is a small amount of wear to
the bottom edge of the sleeve, which is in otherwise excellent
condition with clean, bright laminate and secure flipbacks. The vinyl
shows only a handful of scuffs and light inaudible surface marks as
evidence of play with labels free from spindle wear! 33SX1293)
