hello all.......it's time for me to sell my lovely Stranglers collection...all of it...there's loads, and I don't know where to move it on as a job lot without splitting it into individual items and ebaying it.......i know some of the discs I have are desirable (pic discs etc)...any help please. | [reply to this topic] |

Well worth seeking this out. To all intents and purposes, it looks exactly like the released 45 ( .. even down to sharing the same cat.no.), however .. it's a different mix. The vocals aren't buried .. the bass is more prominent .. and it sounds like a wider stereo mix to boot! The only physical difference to tell it apart from the released 45, is a 'A' stamped in the middle and the familiar: 'For Promotional Purpose Only'. | [reply to this topic] |

Been a fan of The Stranglers since I wish 15 years old - now fast approaching 45 this year. Met the man of my dreams a year ago and on our 2nd date he asked me to choose a CD from his collection - I took out a Stranglers greatest hits compilation and put it in the car stereo - he freaked!! Are you a Stranglers fan - yes I said - that was it I knew we were destined for each other - a year later I have bought tickets for a gig in the Coal exchange in Cardiff - he doesn't know yet a surprise for his birthday..but he has been to all the gigs in Wales from an early age and so have I I guess our paths may have crossed a long time ago - but I guess we wouldn't be the same people that we are now!! Can't wait till the 29th Sept......JJ play that Bass like only you can, Jet and Dave gie it all ya got and Baz...haven't heard you before but god you got an act to follow in Hugh....Love ya and thanks for being part of my life guys!! | [reply to this topic] |
