mattjazz SLOVENIA Created Thu 16th Dec '10 07:44 (GMT)Review: The Groundhogs - Split Great power psychodelic Blues, Groundhogs are one of the bands I never had a chance to own, until now. Classic record, laminated gatefold brings you back to the days when there were no Wikileaks and no internet, when one went to the real record shop and browsing thru new arrivals every month maybe bought one or two records with the hard earned money. Oh I miss those days in a way, but with the commodity of online stores everything is just a click away. Great stuff, have been playing this one for two days now ![reply to this topic ]
Re: THE GROUNDHOGS Split (1971 UK first press 8-track LP on the
black Liberty label, housed in a fully laminated gatefold
picture sleeve with great live band shot inside. The sleeve
shows some light shelf/ringwear with some laminate lifting in
places whilst the vinyl is Excellent with the odd light sign of
play. A respectable copy of this essential slab of heavy
progressive blues! LBG83401) £ 25.00, US$ 31.25 View this product

Re: THE GROUNDHOGS Who Will Save The World? (1972 UK first
press 8-track LP, housed in a stunning fold-out gatefold
sleeve designed like a cartoon comic book by Marvel's Neal
Adams. The album also saw the band introducing Mellotron to
their sound. The fold-out sleeve design is always prone to
wear but this example shows some light age/shelf wear & the
vinyl displays a few light scuffs with no real impact on
