LarryH Clear Spring, MD USA Created Fri 16th May '08 17:41 (GMT)
 | | Review: Actually this is a June 2001 release of the old US Launch CDs. They were available from the old Internet site which is now part of Yahoo. Other dates listed on cover are for software copyrights (Quicktime,Microsoft,etc.).Some were available at certain stores( Borders,Tower Records,etc.). I have seen them in cardboard sleeves, snap packs, regular jewel cases, and the magazine format (a cardboard that opens up with info on the disc. Don't know why the different formats, could depend on where it was sold.
Does anyone have a list of these as I just started collecting them? I have 2 different covers of numbers 51 (New Found Glory and Blues Travelers). I have issue #1 with Matthew Sweet (1994-95?).My most recent is #54 with P J Harvey dated October 2001. Don't know if that is the last one or not. | [reply to this topic] |

Laura Stoneman - UK and Import Releases UNITED KINGDOM Created Tue 1st Apr '08 13:47 (GMT) | | Deleted!! I am sorry to be the bearer of bad news; BUT I have to bring the unfortunate news that our pre-order of the deluxe REM album got cutback due to limited numbers, we wasn't aware of this situation until about 15 minutes ago. So we have only been able to fill the first few orders which were placed.
We are doing our best to try and get some more from other suppliers, but it's not looking promising right now. Many apologies to those customers (who should have received emails by now) whose orders we couldn't fill.
Sorry for any inconvenience caused.

 | | Review: Jamming Jamming was a great magazine and this was great compilation, even if only REM went onto to anything major. All tracks worth a listen, sounds good on vinyl and summarises the mid 80s and a new optimisim in music that was coming through... | [reply to this topic] |
