JTB1976 OLDHAM UNITED KINGDOM Created Tue 19th May '09 19:33 (GMT) | | Question to EIL: How can you have two sets of promos stamped Hi there. I'm a little bit confused and annoyed! I've just been browsing through the PG section and found these "promos" for sale and found the exact same CD's that I bought from here back in 2002. The thing is my set also is stamped 00010! Any ideas why this can be? Cheers. John. | [reply to this topic] |

Intruder ITALY Created Wed 15th Apr '09 16:05 (GMT) | | The left laminate in the picture is an absolute fake... It is described as a "'Commemorative' pass for the 1973-1993 celebratory series of concerts": but there never was such a "series".
Furthermore, Peter Gabriel has NEVER allowed images of his Genesis days to be associated with his current persona during any of his solo tours!
Oh, and the pass on the right is for the US leg of his 1980 tour (not 1980-81) Cheers... | [reply to this topic] |
 | | | | | Re: PETER GABRIEL Pair of Laminated Backstage Passes (Pair of genuine
unused and unissued Tour Laminate Passes manufactured by the U.S
company Perri, who along with Otto were responsible for providing the
majority of artists with backstage passes andlaminates throughout the
1970s, 80s and 90s. The passes in this set are unissued, unused
over-runs. It was commonplace for the manufacturer to destroy or
give away any unused passes once a tour was over, making these
highly desirable. One ofthe passes is a Backstage 'Staff' pass for the
1980-81 Tour with album artwork, whilst the second is a
'Commemorative' pass for the 1973-1993 celebratory series of
concerts) £ 10.00, US$ 16.70 View this product

marlketz UNITED KINGDOM Created Wed 29th Oct '08 22:45 (GMT) | | Question to EIL: I have a copy of this album with white label, gatefold black and white interior with marketing info including cataloge number of CDS 4019 for release date of May 23rd. However on outer cover the cataloge number is CDS 4018 which I notice is also used by another Charisma artist. Is this just something they did when issuing promos?
I may be interested in selling if it is collectable. | [reply to this topic] |
