Hey guys. I have a question that I'm hoping you can help me out with. When I was a teenager, I had my original Nirvana CDs, first pressings, stolen from me and I would like to repurchase them, preferably still sealed. Can you tell me if there is anyway to make sure the CDs are the original first pressings? For example, are any bar codes positioned differently on the outer jewel case? As far as I know picture disc usualy just come in a plastic cover.

Complete with green
tint picture sleeve with silver lettering, original folded poster and
superb cream coloured printed cloth tour bag - the bag states this is
limited to 500 although we understand there were in fact 550 -
regardless, this remains one of THE rarestand most desirable Nirvana
items around! This unique edition was export-banned when released
so none of the usual importers were able to bring them in wholesale,
adding to its rarity today. This copy remains in sublime MINT condition

Hi eil,
My prize possession is a test pressing of the split Nirvana/Jesus Lizard 7", only 10 of which were made. I have number 4 but I've not played it. All markings on the record are consistent with other accounts of this in existence and I also have a letter of authenticity from a record exec guy in Australia (I think he's a rep/ex-employee of Insipid) confirming the existence of these 10 copies. This page actually documents a copy being sold on Apr 08 2004: $560. This is the copy I own.
Have you seen any of these copies before?

have u checked this, http://www.sliver.it/nirvana/test/index.html the USA coloured bleach vinyls normally fetch between £50-£80 on ebay, sometimes more, but really depends on the colour, some are rarer then others. | [reply to this topic] |
