Cathryn Draper - UK Office UNITED KINGDOM Created Fri 7th Aug '09 14:41 (GMT) | | pricing policy Thanks for your posting. You don't say when you managed to track down those copies at the prices mentioned and you were obviously in the right place at the right time. No one could argue they really were a bargain at that price and they were infinitely less than we've paid for any copy, in our 22 year history! I can understand therefore why you may feel that our price is unrealistic by comparison, but I would add that we don't have a copy in stock and still have a waiting list of people looking for one in top condition. Top condition is the key: we come across these LPs every few months but not in the condition that we would be happy to put our name to and we end up buying, on average, one acceptable copy every two years. If you find any more bargain copies and wish to sell them to on, at a profit to yourself of course, then please get in touch again. | [reply to this topic] |

Adrian_Argentina Buenos Aires ARGENTINA Created Thu 14th Aug '08 13:56 (GMT) Edited Thu 14th Aug '08 13:59 (GMT) Edited 2 times | | A real gem! Hi EIL community! This fantastic concert seems to reunite almost the best catalogue of songs from Genesis, with tracks from three great Genesis albums as A Trick Of The Tale, Wind And Wuthering and Duke as well as some Gabriel-era songs. The biggest positive surprise for me was the new tracks from the And Then There Were Three album, with the superb opener Deep In The Motherlod. One For the Vine is also performed and is fantastic too!
Maybe this concert can be made better if it is given an upgrade in terms of picture and sound quality in the future. On the DVD-Audio version of Duke (just re-released in hybrid SACD/DVD-Audio), there is, as an extra feature, a selection of live tracks from the same show in London in 1980. Compared to this DVD, the bonus feature on the Duke DVD-Audio is presented in much better sound and picture quality. This means that it would be possible to upgrade the Live In London DVD and give it the same sound and picture quality as the selection on the Duke feature. Until then, this version is a MUST and highly recommended!

liquid len ITALY Created Sun 29th Oct '06 20:05 (GMT) | | PINK SCROLL CHARISMA LABEL Hi I'm italian... so at first, sorry for my english.... I have a question: the original 1st issue of Nursery Cryme had the pink scroll label...ok! but someone can tell me if this one must be textured or rough ? I always seen this label smooth and it looks to me always too much perfect and new for those years...! For example I have 'For our children's...' by Audience on a smooth pink scroll label and a friend of mine told me it 's a reissue..... can be true???? Hope I was cleary enough! Thanks for your time liquid | [reply to this topic] |
