The "ABBA - Greatest Hits Vol. 2" was released in 1979 and I think, it was an additional to the "Voulez-Vous" album and promote the current tour same time. Here are the single hits "Gimme! Gimme! Gimme!" and "Summer Night City" - both were non-album songs.
In the era of vinyl records greatest hits compilations got same position with studio albums in a discography and make these well-known releases from the past, like ABBA's "Greatest Hits Vol. 2"...

back in the 1970's in Australia all LPs were sealed with a plastic sleeve that encased the album. This sleeve is like what you would find on packaging like tea bags etc., this sealed plastic cover protected the albums. When you tore the plastic covering then then you finally had access to the record. I still have the following albums (Waterloo, ABBA, Gracias Pour La Musica & The Vistitors) still in this pristine condition. The air inside the plastic sleeves is the original air from 1974, 1975, 1978 & 1981. These plastic sleeves have never been opened and the album cover & album inside have NEVER been touched by human hands!!!! As far as I know from some Abba fans here in Australia I'm the only person they know of that have these albums in this RARE MINT CONDITION. Am I alone or can anyone else advise they have the same Abba albums or similiar? These plastoc sleeves are sealed and as soon as you rip them off the album that can not be put back on they are disposable sleeves put on once.
