The Smash Hits Poll Winners is much more than just an awards show. The Poll Winners Party is one of the hugest pop concerts each year in the UK. Thousands of fans screaming their lungs out as dozens of their fave stars perform live at the awards show. Even the stars don't know who the winners and losers are until the night !! This year's party was held in London at the end of November.

OTHER SMASH HITS 2002 AWARDS

As well as the music Smash Hits likes to celebrate some of the more fun stuff in the world of pop.

Voters decided that Bryan from Westlife was the Party Mentalist Of The Year; he beat Duncan from Blue, Pink, Michelle from Liberty X and (the rightful winner) Ozzy !!

The Top Mop best haircut in pop went to Gareth but poor Christina Aguilera, she was voted the Worst Dressed Person In Pop and the Flop Mop worst hairstyle too. And continuing his success in the recent Q Awards, Simon Cowell was again voted the Most Evil Man In Pop !!

Westlife received the top Smash Hits award of the night.

They were voted into the Smash Hits Hall Of Fame.

They join last year's entrants Steps, who were the debut recipients.

The Smash Hits Hall Of Fame recognises the best pop acts on the planet and Westlife are the definitely the BIGGEST. They have had ELEVEN UK Number 1 singles and sold millions and millions of albums worldwide.
